The Advanced Kamado Mastery class is designed for those already confident in lighting and controlling their grill who want to unlock its full potential - from split-level cooking and dirty-style grilling to perfecting seafood, rotisserie meats and using cast-iron equipment.
Over four flavour-packed hours, you’ll explore the finer details that separate a good BBQ cook from a true Kamado master. This session goes deeper into technique, timing, and flavour development, while still giving you the chance to get hands-on with the prep and the pit.
You’ll cook across a range of Kamado grills, From Kamado Joe (classic and Konnected), Kama Gear and the BSTRD kamado, with all techniques transferable to Big Green Egg, Monolith, Primo, Pit Boss and other ceramic cookers.
Under the guidance of our expert instructor, you’ll learn:

Smoked Picanha Steak
This is an intimate, hands-on class with plenty of time for questions, practical tips, and experimentation. You’ll learn, taste, and cook throughout - and of course, everything we make is either eaten on-site or taken home.
The class runs in our purpose-built BBQ shed at BBQ Land, just outside Hitchin (SG4 7HD). Rain or shine, the charcoal will be glowing.
